EPIF 6th Annual Conference 2021 – “Payments 2.0: Delivering the European Single Market”
We were delighted to invite you to the 6th Annual European Payment Institutions Federation (EPIF) Conference “Payments 2.0: Delivering the European Single Market’.
This event took place virtually on 16th and 17th November 2021 and brought together participants from our membership, key EU policymakers and other important stakeholders in the payments sector. This year we were delighted to have Mairead McGuinnness, Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability and Capital Markets Union and Ulrich Bindseil, Director General, DG Market Infrastructure and Payments, European Central Bank delivering a keynote speech.
Now in its sixth year, this two-day event focused on issues keeping the payments industry busy. We had different sessions on the following topics:

- The Future of Payments, looking at Instant Payments, CBDC and open banking
- Anti-Money Laundering and electronic Identification
